about-dr-cindy

Cindy is passionate about supporting families through every stage of life, with a special interest in pregnancy and paediatric care.

From newborns and children through to pregnancy, motherhood and growing families, Cindy believes in taking a whole-body approach to care by looking beyond symptoms to understand how the body functions both biomechanically and neurologically. This allows her to provide personalised care that fits the person in front of her.

Depending on your needs, treatment may include:

  • Gentle chiropractic adjustments including manual adjustment, activator, drop piece, and mobilisation techniques
  • Cranial work
  • Dry needling
  • Cupping therapy
  • Nerve fibrosis treatment using the Biocomfort Duo
  • Soft tissue techniques

Cindy’s goal is to empower women to help them feel informed, confident and connected to their bodies during this transformative journey.

Her passion for pregnancy care has led her to pursue further education in pregnancy and postpartum care with a focus on helping women feel supported, balanced and comfortable during this important stage of life.

She is Webster certified through International Chiropractic Paediatric Association (ICPA) and incorporates techniques such as optimal maternal position into her care. She has also attended workshops such as Spinning Babies, to further support women throughout pregnancy

Cindy also has a special interest in paediatric care and supporting children through their early years of growth and development. She is passionate about promoting healthy neurodevelopment and helping children grow, thrive and reach their full potential as they experience and engage with the world around them.

To further expand her knowledge and provide specialised care for children, she completed a two-year Diplomate through the Australian College of Chiropractic Paediatrics and obtained the title of Advanced Paediatric Practitioner. This has allowed Cindy to combine chiropractic care with the importance of nutrition and sleep to help

Alongside her clinical practice, Cindy has been teaching Anatomy within the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences at Macquarie University for over twelve years. She loves to educate the next generation of healthcare practitioners about how amazing the human body is to allow us to interact with the world around us, and hopes to inspire them to keep learning. If you ask her a question about anatomy, don't be surprised if she gets a little carried away. Cindy believes the fundamentals are important building blocks, and is a lifelong learner herself. When she's not in practice or teaching, you'll usually find Cindy outdoors. She loves walking and running with her two dogs, playing team sports, joining her husband on cycling and snowboarding adventures, and is currently attempting to grow her first home vegetable garden. So if you've got gardening tips, she'd love to hear them.
